The transistor amplifier "SPert1200 2m" is a linear amplifier designed for work in amateur radio-communication systems, in 144 MHZ band, with all emitters. It is cooled by a traditional aluminium radiator, blown by four 40x40,25mm fans.
They are made in a compact metal housing, containing such basic modules as:
- Power amplifier board on a single transistor LDMOS BLF188XR 1400W.
- Low pass filter board for 144 MHz band
- Incident and reflected power measurement circuits with protection system against mismatch or missing antenna connection. An additional measuring circuit before the LPF filters prevents transistor damage due to possible filter damage.
- Ventilation system with PWM controller in four user-selectable modes:
- Microprocessor-based amplifier driver with LED display.
- Commutation system.
- A 53.5V 56A switching power supply inside the amplifier.
